Decorating an apartment

I've got this unshakable feeling that I'm missing something important for my apartment. I don't really want to think about it, but what's odd is that I'm not at all nervous yet. I'm just sick and tired of window shopping for stuff to put in there and watching the cost go up and up. The big project, my desk, is not making any progress. I've checked out the prices for monitor clamps, and I've got an idea of how I want to do it, but the resources? No clue. My current desk will become a dinner table and I have no chairs for it yet. I'm gonna have to get at least one more couch for the living space, although I do have a really nifty purple carpet for that part. I guess I can really make more progress after I've measured up some more stuff monday after next and I've visited Ikea for the first time. XP

But the cost, fuck me... I can afford it, but I don't really want to.
