But I'ma make me some tea first...
Ouch!
Which kinda brings me to a small rant. Yesterday was just... depressing. I couldn't start making standards AGAIN and odds are I won't be doing so today, maybe a quickie in the afternoon, just to prove I still can. So what happened yesterday? Not much actually, but all more or less at the same time. The realisation I didn't do any labwork AGAIN, I couldn't find my MP3 Player, I wounded myself using one of the least dangerous parts of my bag and I once more missed my bus to Zwolle.
The last one wasn't such a big deal though. Or it wouldn't have been if there'd've been some birds to feed. I'm turning into an old guy, I think. I also helped someone, my second good deed of the month. I can be proud of myself. The station exit was rerouted for the third time in the last two months, and a blind lady was having some doubts about her dog's sense of direction. I told her that the exit was replaced and she went on her way. The bag and the player story go together, see, normally I place my player next to the computer, but of course I didn't do that yesterday, so I spent 4 minutes looking for it. 4 Minutes I should've spent walking to the bus stop. Either way, when I realized where I put the player I closed my bag rather fast and my thumb got caught in the lock. I pulled out my thumb, leaving a small patch of skin behind (which had grown rather large due to flattening, iffy. Couldn't use my thumb for the rest of the day, and I still can't very well. The day improved significantly after eating, though.
Today already IS ew. There is some kind of construction going on and part of the bus route is now closed, so buses may be a TINY bit later then usually. A half our appears to be very tiny. Not to me though, seeing as the buses leave every 15 minutes, but that might just be me. But the best part is yet to come.
So I finally arrived in Deventer, my train to Apeldoorn already waiting. Got in only to hear the previous train (which, by many coincidences, happens to be the train I SHOULD'VE had) had a collision of some sort. No traffic between Deventer and Apeldoorn. Had to travel via Zutphen (which is the same train I take from Zwolle to Deventer, so I should've just stayed there), take a diesel to Apeldoorn (which was filled to the fucking brim, not to mention it had to make another stop at some insignificant pile of shit, possibly a hamlet) and resume business as usual. My back is hurting like hell and I'm not feeling like working either way. I'm gonna give it a shot though. Did I mention the betteries of my player were dead? Had to do the whole trip without music.
Looks like it's gonna be one of those days again, I guess.
