Meditation - How I've adopted my own style
Nov. 6th, 2012 03:54 pmAs many people reading this journal may know, I've had a period (a long one!) where I had trouble getting to sleep, up to points where it took me over 2 hours to even GET to sleep in the first place. I've recently been asked how I dealt with it, and I have never shared my "secret", so here it is:
Meditation.
I'm not even talking about the eastern-style, Shao-Lin (or whichever) meditation, where one completely drifts away into a trance for hours on end. I'm talking about an adjusted version of the western horrified stressful approach to quick-to-bed meditation. I'm saying adjusted, because the whole bullshite 16-page web page I sourced my stuff from contained a lot of scientifically baseless "facts", which seemed unnecessary in my eyes.
( Here we go! )
This is pretty much all I have for now. If I have more, I'll add it here. Got questions? Ask away!
