First

So yeah, for those who haven't been following my Twitter (and that would be the most of you, so my apologies for that), the delivery date of my apartment is the 21st of September. I've been busy this weekend getting everything ready (the floors for the bedroom will arrive and be put in on the 25th, the floors for the rest will arrive a day later and I have to put those in myself, which is good as I need to wire the place up. All seems to be going well, I'm just not sure about the room I am renting right now. Since there is a legal waiting term after canceling a room, and I got the letter last Friday, I could only cancel my room the day later, on the first, which means I can only cancel from the 1st of October, onward. I'm not sure how this shit is fixed with rent and all. I don't feel much for paying a whole month to forcibly rent this room for one day of a new month, but I'm sure I'll work that one out, one way or the other. In the worst case, I fall back another 400 Euro's for nothing. Ouch. There doesn't seem to be much info about this available on the web...

#EDIT: The landlord was very kind and has already informed me there's no rent for October and I'll get my deposit back. I do feel I need to paint a couple of damaged spots on the wall though. Transport for the 29th/30th has been taken care of. Everyone is so helpful and all is going so well! What is happening to my world? *_*
