Today

Today was a fun day. I spent most of it editing my poster design (once again, thanks for all the constructive criticism! I love more!), and trying out some old games. I think I'm going to buy Terraria when it comes out. I'm becoming more and more annoyed with the noise downstairs (it's also a hindrance on my creativity, among other things). I got the cel I ordered back before I knew that I messed up my finances, which made me feel a little weird, especially since I've dropped my cels of somewhere where they can't potentally be burned down by psycho bitches/boyfriends. I miss them, but I suppose I'll have to make do.

Weird... About ten minutes ago when I stepped out of the shower, my heart was being a total jerk and hurting. It seems to have passed now, but that was unnerving.

I've stolen Heather's Friday Five, for funsies:
1. Do you believe in luck, fate or a higher being? I believe we are more in charge of what happens around us than most of us think. My father sometimes tells me god can be found within oneself. While I think that's an exaggeration, I definitely think there's a stream of fate.
2. Are you in control of your own destiny or someone else pulling the strings of your life? See previous answer.
3. What are your lucky charms if you own any? All my Shampoo items function as lucky charms, and from time to time I wear my purple "prayer" beads, with surprising effects.
4. Is the world really just a stage and are we merely actors on that stage? We're not even that. I think it's closer to "Life's a glitch, then you die", no-one really watches the play anyway.
5. Describe what happened on your "luckiest" day (positive or negative). I cannot remember either a very good or a very bad day, except that I experience the majority of recent events as off-center towards bad. I need to work on my karma. Right after I finish my poster.

OK, so no progress on the poster for now, but then again I can only order it when I get this month's pay anyway.

Setting that aside, yesterday I started playing Audition again. I don't know how I do it (hence the title), but I'm totally hooked again. It's still THE best dance game for the PC and arguably the best dance game ever, if not at least the best MMO dance game. I ditched my couple (your dance partner) about three months back and found a new one yesterday. She's German, has a sister that she always plays with, and she's my dance partner now. This unlocked a wave of nostalgia and the growing realization that very few 28-year olds still play Audition, reinforcing the wall between the game and the actual world out here. I'm not sure why I'm writing this bit anyway. Maybe I'm just afraid if they find out/ask for it, they might think I'm some freaky guy... Eh. I suppose I'll find out then. Until that time, I'll gladly keep playing this game. I made another level today. They made the licenses much easier to attain.

It's wonderfully quiet right now. I think I'll read some stuff and then go to bed.
