So get this: Jeremy Clarkson (Top Gear host, for those who don't know him) calls train headbumpers selfish. I'd say he's stating the obvious, but NO. Apparently he had to apologize for saying that Mr. Take-The-Easy-Way-Out damages the minds of train drivers, passers-by and all the emergency services that have to scoop his brains out of the tracks far after his sorry-ass soul has been sent to hell to burn for all eternity (not that he'd sense it as all his senses were completely obliterated by a magnificent piece of workmanship on tracks).
PEOPLE! Just once a show's host speaks truth, and he is told to apologize. To WHO? The guy is DEAD! The only things he left behind are the aforementioned who actually had to witness his gruesome and, indeed, selfish act, and the family, who will not only have to live with the burden that the last thing their latest member of the dead branch did was traumatize at least 50 people, but they also have to arrange a funeral for this person. I ask you... In which way is this not selfish?
Besides, the last thing I'd want as a frequent traveler is to be delayed because some jackass couldn't handle life anymore but still wanted as much attention as he could get, even after his lights were extinguished. So if you want to commit suicide (and F-List, please don't!), make sure you do it in a way that doesn't bother others. There are so many alternatives. And if you do have to be a post-mortem attention-whore, at least be original.
