Of anime and lolicon

For the first time in 4 years I'm working on an AMV again. Currentday editors will keep me from it becoming a failure, like my Shampoo one, but I am refraining from making another of those. Mainly because I lack quality Ranma material (although I do have a fair load of original work FROM the anime - among which one series of cels nearly enough to reproduce the entire slapping scene from season 3 now!) and I want to show this new piece at a con some time. The anime I'm using is... controversial at least: Kodomo No Jikan. While I absolutely disapprove of the not-so-hidden lolicon message in it, and the storyline is predictable - as it is with nearly all single-season rabu-rabu anime - I can't help but be captivated by it. Maybe that says more about me than the anime. Which is also the reason I'm a little hesitant to actually submit it, and I will let a friend check the... shall we call it validity... of the matter to be submitted.

It's nice to see I'm as much of an enigma to myself as I am to my closest friends. Not sure if this is good or bad, but I like it.

I'm on holiday next week, which will give me some time to prepare my stuff for the Animecon and to finish Sam's gift, which I still haven't finished entirely. Almost done though. Once more calm afternoon oughtta do it. Problem is, I haven't had many of those, recently. Life's been hectic, but the results are praise-worthy. Another post for another day.
