I'll never find myself reading those cheesy sex novels, no exceptions. As for movies, romance goes ok with a bit of comedy, but I generally dislike Live-Action Anime movies. I didn't like Transformers, btw.
I don't miss any social events like that, since I wouldn't like them anyway. As for discussions, most people over here don't even get manga/anime anyway, so the main discussion is usually about my Shampoo obsession. And I always find myself on the losing end of it, since no-one I have such discussions with understand me in the first place. Oh, how emo. XD
Speaking of atypical taste... I've just found a Maroon 5 song I like. Probably because it's used in a Shampoo AMV in the first place, but it doesn't sound half bad, either. XO
