Captain's l... Oh wow!
Jul. 5th, 2009 01:26 amCompany's day out was today (technically yesterday). It was awesome, although only half of the people who could've made it actually came. We had a lot of fun and people were a lot less reluctant of a photographer this time. Last time they weren't too happy, although the only reason I actually HAD a camera with me at the time was because the Abunai was the same day, I had to interrupt it for the company's day out and wasn't too happy about it. Although later it was fun as well. I had my Yamato wristband on until halfway through the event, so I'm ever so slightly sunburnt over the arms, except where the wristband was. XD
I'm trying to make a collage out of the pictures, as suggested by one of the people from work, but Paintshop is being a pain in the ass, as the amount of pictures and layers I'm using, combined with the reasonably large size of the poster picture seems to take up about 1.5 gigs of RAM, 2/3rds of the way there. I've reduced the amount of layers, which should have an impact, but so far the differences have been negligable. Any suggestions to reduce PSP's memory usage is therefor appreciated.
Since several colleagues have pointed out that they'd rather not go into the company outing committee next year, I'm considering applying. I'd rather have some ammo up front though, so I'll start out with trying to find a couple of fun days out sometime soon, if I remember it.
I'm almost near the end of season 1 of Voyager. I bought the DVD's, since I did like the seris when I was younger, and it does seem to attrack a fair deal of nostalgia. Re-reading this entry also makes me realise I'm putting some of that "Captain's log" syntax to use... Took me a while to think of the word I wanted to use there... Syntax... I'm not even sure I ever used it before in this sense.
#EDIT: Ah, yes. Happy Independence Day for all you Americans, hope it's been alien-free, unlike most of my Star Trek episodes.
