Balance entry for last friday

As far as a day like that can be balanced out anyway, but today was ok. I 'repaired' one of our machines which had a lousy measuring range, which felt good, replaced two ion sources and kept their respective ranges maxed and I'm once again in awe of my favorite machine, which had sprung a MAJOR air leak (and I mean HUGE leak), but I fixed it and the machine is completely airtight again, and up and running. I wasn't even supposed to have machine shift today, but the guy who was supposed to have it has been sick for a while. I hope he gets better soon though. >_<
