First update of the year
Jan. 5th, 2008 11:53 am5 days have passed since I signed up at Analytico. Doubts? Very much so. I might change my point of view after my first month of pay. XD
Uhm, so yeah. I've been working on a new piece of programming to try and make it easier for my colleagues and myself, but nearing the end, I'm starting to realize it's pretty hard to use the whole thing, and I don't know if many people would use this... That's a good day worth of programming down the drain if they won't. I don't really mind, I enjoy doing it, but I do enjoy it a whole lot more when people actually USE what I create. The first program I made was a huge success. Nearly everyone is using it, and everything's good, except that it doesn't work on one particular type of computers. Why, I don't know, and it doesn't always backfire, but it does backfire a lot, and I don't like it when my creations backfire, so to say.
I want to start working on some projects again. I need to restore two statues to their former glory, and I want to start another cel. The problem is that I can't figure out which one.
Oh hey! I've started playing Trickster again! It's still weird, because they changed more or less every aspect of the game except the interface itself.
If I'm not playing Trickster, odds are I'm playing The Ship. It's a Half-Life 2 mod where you are on a ship, obviously, and have to find weapons to kill your quarry. The catch is that you have to do it without people seeing it. Weapons include Pool Cues, Rolling Pins, Frying Pans, Knives, Daggers and Revolvers. It's way brilliant.
Also, I'm terribly, TERRIBLY hooked to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. I got the GBA to play in the train, and that I definitely do, but nowadays, I start playing once I found my seat in the train and only quit when I enter the company. On the way back, I quit playing when the battle's over that I started before I entered the house. During the weekend... Well, suffice to say, I'm an addict and fine with it.
Err, yeah, that's pretty much it, except that I really miss talking to you guys. It's still something that I can't get used to. I'm only home for like... 3 hours, excluding sleep.
Well, that's it, I suppose. It's only been 5 days. XD
