I finally got it over with and started a Fancel. What is a fancel? It's a cel produced after the anime by fans, obviously.
Will post it when it's done, whether you like it or not. :'D
As for the statue, it's going slow. I still want to make those eyes the way MuMu's link suggested, though I sincerely doubt I'll be able to pull it off.
The emo moments have set aside for now, and I've spent most of the day on the cel and the statue. I almost ruined the cel about half an hour ago though. Most of the paint I use for it is modeling paint, which works fine on an overhead. One of my paints is from a different brand and a fuckload thinner. Yellow. Is it a coincidence that of all colors, the contrasting color of purple attempts to piss me off? Anyway, I dot a bit on the center of the bodice, and the drop grows larger and larger. It ended up stopping about half a millimeter over the edge. Had to wipe it all off, which was hard, and removed a bit of printer ink. Now I'm gonna have to do the other color (which is red, with a slight hint of black, and a hell of a lot thicker) first, and splash the yellow over it. Pro: I won't have to mind the thin yellow, con: it's a lot harder applying it this way and I don't know how the yellow will respond to the cel. I hope it'll all work out. ^_^;
So basically I've done 4/12 colors right now. The hair is done (durh), and I'll have done the eyes and all other white parts by tonight.
Subscribed to another job site today. Why can't we just have one page with all the openings? Afraid it'd be too easy? Gah. My minor nuisance of the day.
