Will the fun never cease?

About a week ago, my molar, which got filled the day after my brother's birthday, seemingly going so well, started hurting.

Yesterday I called the dentist, he was on holiday last week, and I decided I could wait, and he told me it's probably a nerve that is hurting, hearing the symptoms. What does this mean? A root canal treatment. My first major surgery on my teeth. I have to leave in about half an hour. I'm so nervous, my eyes are vertigoing all over my screen. It's annoying and obscuring my reading other people's journals. Hel, if that comment I made just now didn't make sense, I'm sorry.

Not... feeling... well...

So yeah...

The assistant dentist didn't deem it necessary to do some surgery. Simply because the pain has been getting less. He figures it's either a dying nerve in the root or something or a restoring nerve. He told me to give it another 2 to 3 weeks to see what happens. I hope that nerve just recovers, but it annoyed the shit out of me that I drove an hour there and another hour back just to have a consultation, for which he will charge me. Alltogether it was a rather expensive dentist visit just to hear "come back in two weeks".

Guess it beats root canal surgery... Curse my luck. XP
