...Now's my time to say something good.
OK, lemme start with the beginning again. I made a deal with Joost and Hans that we'd be meeting in school on monday. This happened yesterday afternoon. I suggested it could be done on friday since I had to be at the school today. In the end we decided to keep it to monday. About an hour later, Hans passes me a link to a news site. A train had collided with a truck carrying supplies. This certain train is one of my favorite trains on the track Deventer-Zwolle. The NS (Dutch Railways) had sent buses to drive the part. Now, I hate buses for long trips, but I must admit: This was well done.
Later, when I was at school (I still had to go, I had two conversations with teachers), Diane told me the truck was carrying supplies for a railway tunnel nearby, to improve the public safety. Sometimes irony can be a cold-hearted bitch. Also, another train derailed, on the part Deventer-Zutphen. Just imagine: If I had to go to the NSC today, I would've had to take a bus from Zwolle to Deventer, wait for a bus to Zutphen and take that one too. And back, of course. So in the end the NS had set up buses for Zutphen AND Zwolle. They both departed from the same stop, which left some room for my bus driver to make a few funnies. Some people stepped inside and he asked 'Zutphen?' They looked at each other and replied, confused 'No. Zwolle!' So the driver said 'OK, then you're on the right bus :)' Gawd, if I didn't know better I'd say the driver was Gerrit. He looked quite alike and had exactly the same humor.
Another side-note: This is the first time I read Harry Potter in public transportation. I wanna finish part 4 again before it comes out on the 23rd. In the bus back I finally finished 3 (I'm goin' all the way to 6 again) and started the first chapter of 4. My citybus driver was also awesome. The most crowded street of the route was, as could be expected on a market day, full. Not just full as in full, but traffic-jam full. So from the wrong side of the street comes this car driving backwards FAST. He turns the wheel and stops it exactly before another car coming from a side-street. You could see all those drivers yelling at the crazy driver, and he was yelling back too. So all of a sudden out of nowhere, the bus driver starts laughing. He found it extremely funny that people were driving this stressfully. We spent the entire rest of the route discussing cyclists who have to much backbone. All and all, I had a brilliant day.
Oh, and reply to my comments more, people! I'm getting the feeling Uvin and Hel are the only people still on the LJ. I miss you, U-chan!
#EDIT: I know Hiro and Mumu are online too, as they've made an entry again. Yay ^_^
