Damn those annoying brothers
Jan. 3rd, 2005 09:20 pmWell, my MSN/AIM contacts might have noticed my absence during the last 2 days. Here's why:
Saturday: My mother and her friend were on some trip to my grandparents, and my brother seemed to think that was his cue to turn up the volume of his music. My other brother (Frank) and I were playing Diablo II (My alternative to Mu, which, in my opinion has started sucking lately), and Rick just kept on turning up the 'music'. His definition of music: Take a synthesizer, cut some random samples from REAL music, insert booming noise, repeat. It's not exactly my style, and I don't mind his noise as long as he keeps it to himself, but the shit started banging into my skull after 4 hours. So therefor, I went upstairs, pressed the 'off' button (once), moved my mouth to about 5 centimeters from his ear, took a deep breath and told him, at the top of my decibels I didn't like his music. Then I pulled out some plugs downstairs, and five minutes later, put 'em back in. Rick, subtilly enough, smashed the router, or so he says, I have no prove yet. He's got a big problem now, or actually two:
1. I am the one who purchased the router, and I have a very clear statement about breaking other people's stuff: You buy a new one, or try to fix it. Either way I don't mind.
2. Mother is not too happy with his 'abusive power' over ther router, therefor she has asked her friend to install the router in her room. This is no problem for me, as I will have more permanent internet now, AND, mom can now disconnect his internet at will! *evil grin*
However, since the router is smashed/missing/whatever, I can not:
1. Connect to the internet at home, which is not a big deal, as apparently I have more places to get online >:)
2. Make a Diablo Server and play a network game with Frank, which ticks me off a bit more. But that's ok, because I have discovered a new thingy. I'm gonna emulate some PSX games, and purchase a Logitech 'PSX'-controller for mah PC. ^_^
My friend and I are totally into Bust-A-Groove again, and after I mastered BaG1, I'm gonna try to get Pander on BaG2, and master that too XD
